Dr. Cortney Archbold

Dr. Cortney Archbold joined Hammerlee Dental Care in 2016 and has a tremendous amount of experience providing quality care to patients of all ages. Dr. Cortney is originally from Pittsburgh and has loved her time in Erie. She received Bachelor’s of Arts degrees from both the University of Notre Dame and Wake Forest University. Dr. Cortney is a graduate of the University of Southern California School of Dental Medicine and has been in the dental profession for more than a decade. She is one of just a handful of dentists providing oral screenings for Head Start programs and has been a finalist for the Erie’s Choice Awards multiple times for both multiple dental categories. As a Pittsburgh native, Dr. Cortney is a Steelers fan and a huge fan of Notre Dame football as well. She is very active and loves cycling and running. She is also an amazing cook.

Dr. Cortney is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Erie County Dental Association and is committed to continuing her education through lifelong learning and attending dental educational courses. Dr. Cortney strives to make our patients comfortable and at ease throughout their dental visits and places great emphasis on providing them with the highest quality of personalized care. Dr. Kristine Fromknecht

We are so grateful to have had Dr. Kristine Fromknecht join the Hammerlee Dental Care team in 2023. Dr. Krissy is an Erie native and a graduate of McDowell High School. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from Westminster College in New Wilmington. Dr. Krissy is a graduate of the Case Western Reserve School of Dental Medicine and received the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology award in her senior year. She completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where she received advanced training in molar endodontics, implant placement, periodontal surgery, removable and fixed prosthodontics, surgical extractions, and emergency treatment. Dr. Krissy played basketball for McDowell and was the women’s basketball Team Captain at Westminster College. She still loves the game and loves being outdoors, especially camping, skiing, and hiking. Dr. Krissy has a new puppy keeping her busy and she loves doing DIY remodeling projects at her home.

Dr. Krissy is a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Cincinnati Dental Society, and the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity. Aside from her impressive credentials, she also possesses a warm and compassionate personality that instantly puts patients at ease. By fostering an environment of trust and open communication, Dr. Krissy ensures that each patient feels comfortable throughout their visit, promoting a positive dental experience. LINDA STRAUB-BRUCE, RDH, BSED, PHDHP, MHSA, FADHA

Registered Dental Hygienist and Practice Manager

Linda has worked with Dr. Hammerlee since her 1989 graduation from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, first as a Registered Dental Hygienist and now as the Operations and Finance Manager. She also received her Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and her Masters in Health Services Administration from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she is currently enrolled in the Doctorate of Healthcare Administration program. Linda is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, International Federation of Dental Hygienists, American Dental Hygienists’ Association, Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association, Pennsylvania Academy of Dental Hygiene Studies, American Dental Education Association, American Academy for Oral Systemic Health, and National Dental Practice-Based Research Network. She is an Inaugural Fellow in the American Dental Hygienists’ Association Professional Fellows and was the 2023 recipient of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine’s Distinguished Alumna Award.  Linda enthusiastically welcomes you to experience our wonderful office, whether you are a new or existing patient.

Deena Pribonic, BA, RDH Registered Dental Hygienist

We were grateful to have Deena join the Hammerlee Dental Care Team in 2013. She is an Erie native and graduate of McDowell High School, where she is currently the Head Coach of McDowell Cheer. Deena graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Psychology. She then continued on to graduate from Tri-State Business Institute’s Dental Assisting Program in 2010. Deena then enrolled in the Fortis Institute Dental Hygiene Program where she obtained her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. Deena is certified in CPR and is licensed to administer local anesthesia. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association and the Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband, Matt, and daughter, Viviana and their cat named Peach and rescued kitten named Muffin. Coaching cheer is a big part of her life outside of the office and she is a highly decorated coach and was named the 2022 McDowell co-coach of the year, the 2021 PIEAA and NFHS coach of the year plus her team earned 2 state championships. Dental health is her passion, and she brings a tremendous amount of experience to our team. Deena enthusiastically looks forward to meeting you and helping you achieve and maintain optimal oral health.

Heather Miller, PHDHP Registered Dental Hygienist

We are immensely proud to have Heather on our team. She is originally from Waterford and a graduate of Fort LeBoeuf High School. She received her diploma in Dental Assisting from Tri-State Business Institute, where she received the outstanding student achievement award, and her Associates Degree in Specialized Science in Dental Hygiene from Fortis Institute where she was the class President. During her dental hygiene education, Heather received the Team Player Award, participated in several Sealant Saturday events and several other charitable care missions to provide free dental treatment to the community. Heather is licensed in the administration of local anesthesia, maintains current certification in CPR and is committed to continuing education. In addition to being a Registered Dental Hygienist, she is a Certified Dental Assistant. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association and is a licensed Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner (PHDHP). and is working towards her Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner (PHDHP) license. Heather, her husband, Chris, stepson, Austin and stepdaughter, Gabby, have 2 dogs (Han and Chewy), 2 cats (Peeka and Leila). Heather loves spending time with her family, and they are foodies. They love to cook together, host parties, take vacations centered around food and art. Heather dabbles in art herself, coaches pitching for fastpitch softball, plays slow pitch softball and loves football. The Steelers are her team! Kayla KAYLA FULLER, RDH, PHDHP Registered Dental Hygienist

We are very proud to have Kayla on our team. Kayla is originally from Waterford and is one of our four Fort LeBoeuf alumni on staff. She received her dental hygiene education at Fortis Institute’s dental hygiene program and has been in dentistry since 2018. Kayla is licensed in the administration of local anesthesia, CPR certified and is a licensed Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner (PHDHP). She has 2 labs (Nellie and Remi), 5 ducks and 2 cats and is passionate about animals. In the summertime she loves to spend time outdoors hiking with her fiancé, fishing, camping, four-wheeling, walking with her dogs and spending time on her family’s beef farm, Buttercup Acres. Her wintertime hobbies are snowmobiling and cuddling with her dogs. She loves family time, especially spending time with her 2 younger sisters. Kayla is eager to meet you at your next visit to our office and to provide you with the highest quality of dental care.

JENNA YOSTEN, RDH, PHDHP Registered Dental Hygienist

We are very grateful to have Jenna on our team. She is originally from Albion and a graduate of Northwestern High School (go Wildcats!). She is a graduate of the Tri-State Business Institute Dental Assisting Program and received her Associates Degree in Applied Science degree from Fortis Institute where she studied Dental Hygiene. Jenna has very well-rounded experience in dentistry, having fulfilled positions as a dental receptionist, lead dental assistant and dental hygienist and she has been in dentistry since 2008. She is a licensed Public Health Dental Hygiene Practitioner (PHDHP) and is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, Pennsylvania Dental Hygienists’ Association and American Society of Forensic Odontology. Jenna has 3 sons, 2 “pitties” and in her spare time she loves paddle boarding, fishing, weightlifting, and reading. Jenna brings a wealth of dental experience to our team and looks forward to working with you to maintain your oral health.

Kelsey Manges, EFDA Expanded Function Dental Assistant

Kelsey brought her expertise to Hammerlee Dental Care in 2019 and we are so incredibly grateful to have her on our team. Kelsey is a graduate of Harborcreek High School and is a graduate of Fortis Institute’s dental assisting program. Kelsey furthered her education at Greater Altoona Career & Technology Center and is a graduate of their Expanded Function Dental Assistant (EFDA) program. Kelsey is a licensed EFDA which helps to facilitate the highest quality of care at your restorative appointments, and she is CPR certified. She is a big Steelers fan, loves spending time with her dog, Odin, and enjoys movies, music, concerts, and spending time with friends. Kelsey’s welcoming and calming demeanor will make you feel relaxed and right at home here at the office. She looks forward to meeting you and providing exceptional dental care to you and your entire family.

David Vicander, EFDA Expanded Function Dental Assistant

David brought his expertise to our team in 2021 and we are so grateful to have him with us at Hammerlee Dental Care. He is originally from Erie and a graduate of the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center. David is an Expanded Function Dental Assistant which licenses him to perform expanded duties and procedures that help facilitate the highest quality of care for your restorative appointments. He loves to play bocci and spend time with friends. David’s welcoming and friendly demeanor will make you feel relaxed and right at home here at the office. He looks forward to meeting you and providing exceptional dental care to you and your entire family.

Abby Petroff Chairside Dental Assistant

Abby is one of the newer members of our team, joining us in 2022. She is originally from Erie and a graduate of McDowell High School. She is CPR certified and certified in dental radiology. Abby has always wanted to be in the dental field and has enjoyed becoming proficient in dental assisting and looks forward to continuing her education and professional growth. Her goal is to become an Expanded Function Dental Assistant and is considering a career as a Registered Dental Hygienist as well. Abby’s favorite things to do include spending time with friends and family, reading, watching movies, shopping, and traveling. She works side by side with our doctors to deliver the best care for our patients. She is committed to our patients, and it certainly shows. Abby looks forward to assisting you during your next visit with us.
