Our Dentists

Dr. William Hammerlee

Dr. Hammerlee has been a dentist in Erie since 1984. He’s active in the dental community as a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, the Erie County Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. He is committed to providing his patients with the latest, most advanced dentistry available in a comfortable and relaxed environment. Dr. Hammerlee is dedicated to continuing his education and attends numerous seminars, in all phases of dentistry, throughout the United States and abroad.

Education:

-Obtained Undergraduate Degree from Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky. He graduated magna cum laude in 1980.
-Obtained Doctorate of Medical Dentistry (DMD) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1984.
-Completed Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) in 2011.
-Obtained Masters in the Academy of General Dentistry (MAGD) in 2017. Only 4% of dentists have earned their AGD Mastership.

Fun facts:

-Dr. Bill loves to bicycle, hike, travel and work out at the gym.
-He enjoys spending time with his family. He has 4 children and 9 grandchildren across 4 states.

Dr. Cortney Archbold

Dr. Cortney joined our team in 2016 and is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Erie County Dental Association. She’s committed to continuing her education through lifelong learning and attending dental educational courses. Dr. Cortney strives to make patients comfortable and at ease throughout their dental visits and emphasizes providing them with the highest quality of personalized care.

Dr. Courtney has been in the dental profession for more than a decade and is one of only a handful of dentists providing oral screenings for Head Start programs. She has been a finalist for the Erie’s Choice Awards multiple times for multiple dental categories.

Education:

-Obtained Bachelor’s of Arts degrees from both the University of Notre Dame and Wake Forest University.
-Graduated from the University of Southern California School of Dental Medicine.

Fun facts:

-Dr. Cortney is from Pittsburgh.
-She is a Steelers and Notre Dame fan.
-She is very active and loves cycling and running.
-She is an amazing cook.
